Night Support Worker (Part Time, 18 hours)
We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.
You'll be working part time, nights only, 12 hour shifts, on an 18 hour per week contract. You will be working Friday on week one, and Saturday/Sunday on week two, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Woodrow House.
Woodrow House is a 9 bed specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.
We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration. We encourage and enable the residents to lead a full and happy life and work with them to find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that their care can be as person-centred as possible.
Main duties of the job
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
* Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
* Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
* Safeguard
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
