Job Title: International Sales Director – (FMCG Wellness)

Currently partnered with a disruptive Wellness brand creating new waves in aromatherapy, their no nicotine vape has raised the roof through sustainable tech, and plant based goodness without a hint of nicotine or toxic energy in sight. They have also opened up new product lines with their Home Incense and Diffusers now live across their Ecom and Retail channel.
They are a family run businesses founded in 2019 and since grown to a team of 15 strong, based in their HQ Camden. Products are stocked in 1.350 pharmacies and shops dotted around the world - Selfridges, Harrods, Walmart and Sainsburys to name a few.
As the next phase of their growth, they are looking for an International Sales Director to drive forward their Retail offering. 90% of their business is generated via Ecommerce which presents a massive opportunity to penetrate their retail channel to diversify revenue streams.
Role:
* Retail Channel Expansion: Build and execute a European retail go-to-market strategy with a clear roadmap for new country and channel launches.
* Business Development: Identify, pitch, and close deals with major retail partners.
* Account Management: Develop and nurture high-impact relationships with key retail partners to maximize sales performance and brand visibility.
* Sales Strategy & Execution: Set commercial objectives, pricing strategy, trade terms, and promotional plans tailored to each market.
* Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing international sales team as the business scales.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure retail success across markets.
* Market Intelligence: Stay on top of local consumer trends, retail innovation, and competitive activity across European wellness markets.
About You
* Proven track record in international FMCG sales with a strong focus on wellness, beauty, or tobacco
* Deep understanding of the European retail landscape, including existing relationships with major buyers and distributors.
* Demonstrated experience in launching products into new retail channels across multiple European markets.
* Strategic thinker who’s equally comfortable rolling up sleeves to get things done.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence at all levels.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
