I am looking for personal care for a Man
Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:
Negotiable, but, anticipated about 10-15 hours per week.
Hourly pay rate:
£14
Are you a good listener, good at picking up new skills, reliable, trustworthy and
adaptable?
If so then have you considered working in the care sector for a lovely gentleman,
like myself, so I am able to stay as independent as possible. I have vacancies for
enthusiastic, inexperienced or experienced Carers/ P.A.'s to help me to remain
independent in my own home.
The job will be mainly care work, housework including laundry, tidying and
personal care.
The job will be challenging and frustrating, interesting and varied, but hopefully,
rewarding and satisfying.
Full training will be given
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Sensitive to the fact that they will be working at the employer’s home:
be aware of other family members and to minimise interruption to them
treat employer’s home and belongings with care and respect
be wary and sensitive to the family’s routines, procedures and practices
personal to them.
Previous experience is not as essential as a kind and common sense
approach is to the role; the employee’s potential, personal qualities.
Approach and attitude is more important than experience.
