Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable function
2. Lead and mentor a team of credit controllers
3. Monitor and analyse customer credit risk and set appropriate credit limits
4. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
5. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on credit control activities and progress
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
7. Engage with clients regarding overdue payments
8. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate requires:
1. Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and practices
2. Excellent leadership and team management skills
3. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
4. Superior communication and negotiation skills
5. Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
