You will be working with an experienced team and in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible. As a Teacher, your day will be varied and interesting. You follow a flexible structure whilst supporting our children and young people by providing bespoke therapeutic, educational frameworks tailor-made to each child and young person. 1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings; we offer education on an outreach basis or within one of our Ofsted registered a school. You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice. Our schools have been awarded the ‘Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award’. Our leadership team will invest in your progression as a professional in the Education sector. We source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities and prioritise and discuss your personal development goals to ensure you’re getting the most out of your career. Our young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma. Our Team at Field Gate School in Doncaster Field Gate School in Fish lakes, Doncaster, is within a 4-acre rural site. Our school caters for very small class groups of children, promoting social engagement, with a trauma-informed approach 1ACE Doncaster is our outreach alternative provision attached to the school for children who are not yet ready to access education in a classroom setting. We are now a team of around 20 who support and teach our children to become well-rounded individuals; we can often be out in the local community or further afield, allowing the pupils the best learning experiences possible. Our team has a range of qualifications and experience, allowing us to cater to the pupil’s needs and wants.
