Job Title: Plumber at Equans
Equans is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our team at Victoria Hospital in Fife on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours/week). We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide maintenance services for plumbing and drainage systems, including TMV, Thermal Balancing Valves, and others.
2. Maintain heating, ventilation, closed loop, and domestic water systems.
3. Maintain pipework, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
4. Support small works and variation projects as directed.
5. Quickly diagnose issues and perform temporary repairs to minimize downtime.
6. Follow job plans and manufacturer specifications.
7. Keep accurate records of all work performed.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including SHTMs, Scottish Water Byelaws, and trade standards.
9. Assist management with statutory compliance and provide updates on work progress.
10. Conduct risk assessments before starting work and adhere to safety policies, including PPE usage.
11. Promote a safe working environment and uphold EQUANS ethics, diversity, and inclusion policies.
12. Perform other duties as assigned within your competency.

Candidate Requirements:
* Completed relevant apprenticeship with at least NC qualification or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Scottish Hospital Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and related standards.
* Ability to pass a DS Basic check.
