The post holder will demonstrate understanding of complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options. Will also undertake analysis and interpretation of results of medical investigations such as MRI where judgements regarding a range of clinical issues and/or highly complex patient conditions will have to be made (Radiology reports alone are not adequate to make these judgements) To triage referrals using skills beyond the scope of podiatry to aid diagnosis and development of treatment plans. To lead the specialist area in Audit, Research & Development in collaboration with the General Manager and Service lead, Therapy Consultants, Clinical Team Lead, and other members of the Musculoskeletal Team. The post holder will demonstrate understanding of complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options. Will also undertake analysis and interpretation of results of medical investigations such as MRI where judgements regarding a range of clinical issues and/or highly complex patient conditions will have to be made (Radiology reports alone are not adequate to make these judgements. To undertake complex musculoskeletal assessment and specialised treatment on a daily basis. This may require periods of concentration and fine motor skills. To maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and departmental requirements, and to demonstrate a reduction in the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons waiting list for patients with a neuro musculoskeletal disorder.
