Educational Diversity wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated Higher level teaching assistant to support students in a small group or on a 1-2-1 basis.
We are a split site provision, catering for students between the ages of 6 and 16, with emotional, behavioural, social and/or medical needs. The successful candidate will become part of a strong and forward-thinking team, aiming to provide high-quality education for young people who do not attend a mainstream provision.
You will be working with some of the most vulnerable and challenging young people in Blackpool who are currently unable to access mainstream school.
It is essential that candidates have experience working with young people with emotional, behavioural, social and/or medical needs and that they can form and maintain positive relationships with disengaged young people in a variety of settings.

* Is proactive and supportive of students and their families to support strong relationships and can help to overcome barriers to learning
* Is able to plan and deliver Maths and English interventions on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups
* Has excellent organisational and communication skills as well as great attention to detail
* Supports students to achieve their full potential

The hours of work will be 8.30 – 3.10 (may have slight variation eg 4pm on Thursdays) Monday to Friday.
