THE BIG PICTURE:
Bernadette is the digital experience arm of the VCCP Group. We invent, make and iterate digital experiences, tools and products for our clients across all areas of their digital ecosystem. We are 100 strong and are full service including specialists across UX, UI Design and Motion, Technology & Engineering, Content and Comms, Project Management, Data Analysis, Strategy and Ops. All dedicated to creating inclusive, creative, and valuable digital experiences from people and brands.
The VCCP Group, which Bernadette is part, is an integrated communications network, that defines itself as the Challenger Agency for Challenger Brands. Set up in 2002 by Charles (V), Rooney (C), Adrian (C) and Ian (P), who founded the agency on the principles of simplicity, collaboration, un-preciousness and integration around ideas rather than channels.
Standalone and across the Group, we work with a broad spectrum of clients where we deliver best in class digital results.
We work on all kinds of digital products and services, from websites and apps through to voice assistants, chatbots and AR/VR experiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Experience Strategist at Bernadette, you’ll shape and deliver digital products, services, and experiences that drive meaningful impact across the digital ecosystem. From designing strategies to maximise the success of websites and apps to crafting connected digital experiences, you’ll bridge strategic thinking with practical execution to bring the best ideas to life for customers and brands.
You’ll work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and project managers to create solutions that align user needs with business objectives. Passionate about the role of owned digital channels in the wider ecosystem, you’ll bring a strategic perspective that considers how each touchpoint contributes to long-term business value and customer engagement.
On a typical day, you might be doing a number of these:
* Draft research plans or conduct primary research to inform a strategy for digital products or services
* Conduct market and competitive analysis for clients
* Work with the data team to identify insights into cross-ecosystem journeys or inform business cases
* Distil insights into a propositions, strategic frameworks or visions that help clients maximise value for their digital ecosystems, products or services
* Facilitate a workshop to bring clarity and direction to client and internal teams
* Collaborate with design and tech teams to develop a digital customer journey or service blueprint
* Advise clients on measurement best practices to help drive continuous product improvement
* Translate strategy and vision into actionable product delivery roadmaps that consider the experience we want to deliver and the client capability to deliver
* Inform product backlog & roadmap, providing direction and driving prioritisation based on the business’s needs and customer insights
* Create and deliver presentations that make an impact and get people on board with the strategy and creative ideas
ABOUT YOU
You’re a seasoned strategist with a product background with a deep understanding of digital product and service design, interested in how owned channels fit within a connected digital ecosystem. Analytical and creative, you can handle ambiguity and translate complex challenges into clear, actionable strategies. You’re skilled at communicating with stakeholders at all levels and bring a collaborative mindset that thrives in a cross-functional team.
* Experience: High level experience in a similar role, with digital experience in both B2C and B2B
* Skills: Strong in developing digital experience, product and service strategies, data literacy, and crafting user-centric propositions.
* Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, and curious about how trends and technology shape the digital landscape
