We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive strategic people initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and support organisational development within an education charity.

Salary: Starting at £56,097 FTE (Salary progression is based on performance. Full grade range £56,097 to £64,774)
Location: Hybrid / Reading
Hours: Full-time (Part Time 30 hours per week considered)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in implementing people strategies, supporting leaders and managers, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, learning, and performance. You will provide expert HR guidance, champion diversity and inclusion, and oversee key people management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
* Lead on HR processes, including performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
* Drive learning and development programmes to promote professional growth.
* Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
* Oversee talent acquisition strategies and ensure inclusive recruitment practices.
* Support organisational change and culture development.
* Ensure HR policies and procedures align with employment law and best practices.
* Manage employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding.
* Advise and coach managers on HR-related matters.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR professional with strong leadership and influencing skills.
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally as an HR Business Partner or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience leading organisational change and people strategies.
* Background in learning and development, including designing training programmes.
* A track record of implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
