The above full-time, permanent post is available immediately in the Student Recruitment Operations (SROps) team. The role will be based on the Streatham Campus in Exeter. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. This role will often require working at weekend events and out of office hours. It will also involve frequent travel to attend meetings at the Exeter campuses and travel around the UK to attend recruitment events. Interviews are expected to take place on 12th February. Summary of the role: In this role, you will deliver a high-quality programme of prospective student engagement activities to drive up applications/conversions to the University of Exeter, to grow postgraduate student numbers across all markets both on-campus and on-line across all University of Exeter campuses. With lead operational responsibility for developing an annual strategy for our postgraduate (PG) operational plan across the recruitment cycle and managing support functions, systems and recruitment engagements, you will also play an essential role in ensuring the wider SROps team operates effectively and efficiently to achieve best value. Working closely with colleagues across multiple teams, you will deliver a well-managed programme of engagements - on campus, off-campus and online – designed to deliver the optimal recruitment experience for our prospective postgraduate students. You will be the key business expert on the postgraduate student recruitment journey across taught and research provision and for all modes of study (full-time, part-time, online, CPD etc.) Student Recruitment Operations Team Our team delivers student recruitment activity for the university across all cohorts, markets and programmes of study to support the university's recruitment strategy and aims. Working across all our campuses, the team is responsible for supporting the student experience at key touchpoints in their recruitment journey, whether that is through creation and delivery of over 200 in-person and virtual events or managing thousands of individual enquiries and requests for information and advice. The team works in a matrix approach, with thematic groups focusing on specific areas of recruitment, ranging from digital activity, to events and to enquiries.
