We are looking for a commercially minded person to play a key strategic role in our organisation The role KCS seeks a strategic and dynamic Head of Telematics to Head up our newest business unit dedicated to telematics solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our telematics strategy, partnering with equipment suppliers, establishing a network for installation, and building a team to support our telematics vision. You’ll play a vital role in shaping our product line and building a value proposition that resonates with our customer base. Key Responsibilities Establish and head up the new telematics business unit, driving product strategy and growth. Build partnerships with suppliers and installation networks to support telematics solutions. Build and develop a cohesive team to market and support the solutions to our customer base. Be the voice of the value proposition, ensuring it aligns with both our business and customer need, maximising engagement. Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to ensure integration and continued enhancement of the telematics solutions in the KCS’s software portfolio. Required Qualifications Proven track record in building and leading a telematics solution business or department. Demonstrated experience establishing strategic partnerships with suppliers and installation networks. Strong leadership skills, with experience in team building, motivation, and alignment toward business priorities. Exceptional communication skills, with a clear ability to convey the value of telematics solutions to stakeholders and customers. Preferred Qualifications Strong leadership and commercial acumen in the telematics industry Understanding of the distributive trades sector. Familiarity with software / SaaS solutions that integrate with fleet and asset management. Please note this role will need to work alongside our hybrid working policy which requires you to be in one of our UK offices 3 days a week. LI-Hybrid
