Manual QA Engineer - Oracle Simphony (Singapore) Locations: Singapore (Work will be performed onsite) Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract (We are targeting candidates that hold their own LLC for this opportunity.) About the Role: Stratfield Consulting seeks an experienced Manual QA Engineer to support Oracle Simphony POS system testing for a global hospitality client. This role will focus exclusively on manual quality assurance testing for Oracle Simphony, ensuring seamless functionality, stability, and integration across multiple locations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to support POS system implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct manual testing for Oracle Simphony POS implementations, focusing on functional, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing. Support menu configuration and testing, including menu items, discounts, packages, tax adjustments, and UI configurations. Ensure accurate POS system functionality across multiple food & beverage and retail locations. Work closely with third-party vendors and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Perform system integration testing to validate interactions between Oracle Simphony and other hospitality platforms. Using standard QA tools, identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and enhancements. Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and runbooks to document testing procedures. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings following Agile methodologies. Provide post-implementation production support to ensure smooth system operations. Required Skills & Experience: 3 years of experience in manual QA testing for Oracle Simphony POS systems. Strong understanding of POS system configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Experience with menu item management, pricing, tax configurations, and discount testing. Familiarity with end-to-end POS implementations and integrations. Hands-on experience with test case development, execution, and defect tracking. Experience working with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams for POS support and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with international POS deployments (e.g., multi-language configurations and tax compliance across regions) is a plus. Nice to Have: Experience with mobile ordering/kiosk integrations related to Oracle Simphony. Familiarity with POS hardware components and network configurations.
