My client in Llangollen are currently in need of an Accounts Assistant due to expansion.
Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Purpose
To prepare draft accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies for submission to H M Revenue and Customs/Companies House and to assist with the preparation of Tax Returns, and VAT Returns.
Main Duties
Preparing draft accounts (manually and using CCH Software) from complete and incomplete records for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies to include:
* Bank and Cash Control Accounts and Reconciliations
* Analysis of Income and Expenditure into appropriate headings
* Schedules of Debtors and Creditors
* Other Control accounts such as Sales and Purchase Ledger, HP etc
* Calculation of VAT and VAT Control Accounts
* Journals
* Calculation of depreciation
* Processing Tax Returns on Personal tax / CCH software
* Processing Value Added Tax Returns
Additional duties
§ Preparing draft Tax Computations
§ Dealing with client queries
§ Dealing with queries from H M Revenue & Customs
§ Booking In Clients Records and updating clients Job on Booking In list
§ Covering other offices when required
§ General Office duties
§ Personal Time Recording on Computer
§ Acting in a professional and confidential manner
§ Acting in accordance with the company’s client charter and systems manual
§ Being responsible for personal health and safety
§ Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by partners and team leaders
