More information is available on our Career site at www.fife.gov.uk/jobs/supportingstatement Job Details The jobs are currently all within the Technical & Hosting section within BTS and depending on Service requirements and allocation, your duties may/will include: Installation, & Support of iPad deployment into Education establishments Investigating and troubleshooting issues with Council endpoint devices Installing, investigating, and troubleshooting issues relating to existing and new software and solutions Documenting work instructions, solutions, and other technical documentation General customer support and advice Call management using Assyst Assisting in a wide variety of project delivery work Other technical work as required The Person Educated to SCQF level 5 which includes National 5 or SVQ level 2 or Standard Grades at Credit level or equivalent Self-motivated with a good knowledge of problem identification and resolution You should have experience of working in an ICT role within a Team environment. Be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills. A good track record of technical problem solving and technical delivery across a large and complex organisation would also be advantageous. A driving licence while desirable is not essential, but the ability to travel within Fife is essential. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
