White Horse Employment are working with a thriving business based in the North of Somerset to aid their search for a Finance Assistant. This company are experiencing a strong period of growth with a number of acquisitions in the past few years with more planned in the near future.
This is a really varied role in which no two days will be the same. You will gain exposure to the entire finance function from purchase ledger and sales ledger through to month-end reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience as well as technical knowledge with study support available alongside. This role will give you a clear path to become a qualified Finance Manager in the next few years.
A day-to-day could include:
1. Processing supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Chasing customers for any outstanding payments.
3. Deal with any finance related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
4. Assisting in the month-end and year-end reporting process.
5. Getting involved in the annual external audit.
We are looking for someone with all round experience who has a strong desire to progress their finance career. The ideal candidate will come in, hit the ground running and make this role their own.
