We are currently seeking an exceptional Stock Supervisor to join our Old Bond Street team on a full-time permanent basis.
Scope
Responsible for:
1. Ensuring the stockroom organization to maximize store productivity.
2. Monitoring stock levels and supporting the activities of the Sale Staff.
3. Guaranteeing stock and inventory control and management.
4. Acting as the point person for maintaining and supervising all inbound/outbound merchandise as well as the maintenance and organization of all back of house stock and supply areas.
5. Being a role model ensuring the highest level of client service.
6. Representing the brand as an ambassador by promoting its values and ambitions within the marketplace.
7. Key Holder (mandatory for Managers, optional for Supervisors).
Key Accountabilities
1. Manage the stockroom organization in order to contribute to store productivity, in accordance with DG directives and procedures.
2. In collaboration with the store management, is responsible for supporting the Sale Staff, ensuring efficient and fast replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor and shortening the waiting time of clients.
3. Providing training support on system and stockroom guidelines to new stock keepers.
4. Guaranteeing effective people management of the Stock Staff:
1. Arranging and conducting monthly coaching sessions with Staff to review performance and provide constructive, timely feedback.
2. Handling the Corporate review process for the Stock Staff.
5. Participating in daily store meetings to communicate current business trends, relevant updates, and motivate store employees to perform.
6. Identifying store maintenance issues, lighting concerns and working closely with Corporate to report, catalogue, prioritize, and resolve areas that impact store structural function and image.
7. Ensuring receipt, quantities, tagging, deliveries of products, articles, and supplies in a timely manner.
8. Preparing new items to be displayed in collaboration with the Sale Staff.
9. Ensuring replenishment is done systematically and accurately.
10. Participating in store maintenance.
11. Controlling and supervising transfers and all other operations in a timely manner.
12. Supervising the flow of goods between storage and shop floor, preparing and controlling arrangement of articles.
13. Following daily placement of items for sale, in line with articles available in stock.
14. Planning and undertaking inventory operations, and being a stakeholder in monitoring loss-prevention and unknown markdowns.
15. Communicating on a daily basis with article rotation and proposing remedial measures where necessary.
16. Overseeing and confirming all receipts, deliveries, outgoing packages, both retail and non-retail.
17. Maintaining loss prevention standards through awareness and adherence to store policies.
18. Responding to Corporate regarding discrepancies, missing documentation, etc.
19. Guaranteeing bi-annual store inventory accuracy and setting up quantitative targets related to inventory control.
20. Being competent in cash procedures and operations and, if needed, providing support to the cashiers team.
21. Full knowledge of all shipping and receiving procedures and paperwork distribution.
22. Managing Staff uniforms (fitting, order, remittance, alterations, dry cleaning, and spare uniforms).
23. Ordering office stationery, drinks, food, and other relevant tools, coordinating with suppliers, controlling delivery and invoicing.
24. Upholding grooming and styling standards.
25. Performing other duties as directed.
