This hybrid business development position combines sales expertise to engage and secure new business partnerships for the Dine app, alongside account management skills to nurture and expand our current partnerships. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales within the loyalty program sector, particularly in the hospitality and entertainment industries.
The role requires a start-up mentality where every day might bring new opportunities and challenges, which need to be taken into account but cannot distract from the focus of growing the business. This requires a mix of entrepreneurial spirit supported by operational structure and discipline. Key skills include: Determination, Persistence, Commercial Acumen/Creativity, and fundamentally, the ability to get on with people - to open doors and build relationships.
The role is a permanent position and requires the candidate to be in our Brighton office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and remote for the remainder of the week. Fractional/part-time candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acquiring new partners for Dine. Identify and connect with prospective business partners for the Dine app. These are two types of businesses in the hospitality and leisure spaces: Businesses looking for an outsourced plug-and-play loyalty solution hosted on the Dine app, and businesses looking for opportunities to secure repeat revenues via increased bookings and dwell time.
* Acquiring new benefits. We are constantly adding new and relevant benefits for our mix. These might be specific benefit requests from one of our partners and benefits that our data has identified as an enhancement to our portfolio.
* Account managing existing partners. The role will be responsible for account managing some of our partners which includes analyzing performance vs agreed targets, securing new benefits when needed, and in general, building the partnership.
* Reselling. Identify opportunities for our products to be resold via new and existing reseller partnerships.
KPIs:
* Revenue. Securing new revenue and growing existing partner revenue.
* Prospecting. Identifying and managing a steady stream of customer prospects.
