We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our friendly and fun team. We are looking forward to working with someone who will provide essential support to the existing Finance team at a luxury holiday and leisure business in this part-time role. Who you are · Fully qualified/Finalist AAT level 3 or higher or equivalent qualification · Experience working with AutoEntry and Xero or similar financial softwares · Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience with double entry and VAT knowledge · Proven experience in finance and administrative roles · Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations · Proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining and analysing data · Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously · High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to plan and diarise key submission dates · Effective communication skills, capable of providing clear financial advice and reports Desirable · Experience in the leisure and tourism industry What the job involves · Reporting to our Finance Director (FD), you process and manage the authorisation of purchase invoices · In this role, you manage payment runs and handle regular and urgent payments · As our Finance Specialist, you record and post bank transactions using bank feeds, including bank reconciliations · Record and reconcile monthly income from multiple software packages · Process payroll and associated returns · Reconcile card statements and ensure financial compliance is adhered to · Prepare and post accruals and prepayments journals · Deal with the fixed asset register and journals · Handle any additional task requests from external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax advisors · You have a good working knowledge of and are comfortable with cloud-based finance software, preferably Xero · Some travel across the UK will be required · This is a part-time role (28 hours / 3.5 days per week) Who we are · Well established leisure group based in the South West of England, successful and enjoying ongoing growth; our finance team is based in High Wycombe, Bucks, this role will be based near High Wycombe with some travel to London or the South West of England required throughout the year · Forward thinking and proactive in their use of technology within the industry · Close knit, dynamic and supportive team Salary & Company benefits · The pro-rata salary for this part-time role is £22,000-24,000k (FT equivalent is £31,400 - 34,285) · 228 days of annual leave (pro-rata) · Flexible and hybrid working options Application process · Application review · Intro Call with the FD · Interview with FD and exercise Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: No less than 28 per week Benefits: Company pension Work from home Schedule: 3.5 days over Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in High Wycombe HP14 3XN
