We are seeking a Financial Controller/Manager to join a reputable construction company based in Lutterworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a background in the construction sector to manage the financial operations and ensure compliance with key industry processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
2. Managing the CIS returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
3. Handling day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes using Sage
4. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and controlling cash flow
5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial management
6. Preparing monthly management accounts and presenting financial insights to senior management
7. Processing VAT returns and overseeing payroll
Requirements:
1. AAT qualified (or equivalent)
2. Proven experience working in the construction industry is essential
3. Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software
4. Experience with CIS returns
5. Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
