Description Join Electrolux Professional Group - as REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER SOUTHWEST, UK ABOUT THE JOB The business model of Electrolux Professional wants to obtain more focus on customers and products, addressing not only the existing customers but serving the demands of growing global customers, reinforcing the penetration in emerging growing markets, and focusing on the replacement market. In the organizational set-up, the Laundry Business Area is responsible for management of sales channels and service networks: it is a dedicated sales organisation pushing selective key product categories and customer segments, through strong channel management. Within the Laundry Business Area, the Regional Business Manager is responsible for Developing the market share of Electrolux Professional Laundry and myPRO which includes Finished Products and Customer Care To promote exclusively the products of Electrolux Professional within the designated area boundaries to agreed target levels, and to represent the best interests of the company in a professional and competent manner To co-ordinate sales and implement marketing policies and functions as directed Maintaining a working communication and relationship with the partner network and other companies to whom we sell To reflect the professional company image through all communications and actions, both internally and externally Acquiring new sites with B2B Customers where there is an opportunity for the sale of equipment To identify, develop and manage sales to Regional Accounts within agreed Segments through existing and new channels which include Direct and Indirect Route to Market Responsibilities ABOUT YOUR TASKS Agree with the Country Manager UK and Ireland annual targets, objectives and strategies for the area and implement. Liaise with Credit Control to ensure relevant credit terms are in place along with contracts set up highlighting discount levels, payment terms and warranty conditions. Plan and prepare territorial (UK) strategy to achieve targets. Evaluate results, adjust priorities accordingly, and take action to drive change and deliver results. Continuously develop, maintain and improve customer relations. Work with teams across the entire group to share leads, opportunities and cross sell capabilities. Securing new business can be complex and result in long and technical driven negotiations which can take some time to close so must be able to display effective influencing skills and will have the tenacity and patience to develop opportunities to successful conclusion and sale. Liaise with the Laundry Sales Team and Commercial Teams as a whole. Analyse results and to be able to present at local, commercial and regional level. Prepare reports on market/competition and trends in his/her field of responsibilities Utilise cross-functional and matrix capabilities to optimize sector results. Implement instruction from the Country Manager UK and Ireland on time in respect of an action request Manage and report pipeline. Attend product-training seminars as instructed Attend regional and national exhibitions where viable Maintain an effective CRM tool and target list of organisations with a robust review process and effective follow-up actions. Attend site surveys for both local and national accounts Build and maintain excellent working relationships with a network of Electrolux Professional partners to promote and market our product ranges Be alert for business opportunities, which may be identified as a result of customer contact Operate the area on the most cost-effective manner at all times Qualifications ABOUT YOU Degree in Economics / BA or equivalent working experience At least 5 years of working experience in Sales with Proven Record Strong aptitude to change and implement the new category related concepts in the Commercial Organization Aptitude to perform in a matrix organization. Ability to establish credibility by demonstrating knowledge and enthusiasm. Able to contribute to a team environment but must be independent in areas of own responsibility. Excellent negotiating skills Good basic understanding of Commercial Contracts To demonstrate critical and strategic thinking Strong self-motivational skills Knowledge of local market Excellent communication skills Knowledge in Professional Laundry appliances would be an asset. Current, valid UK driving licence.
