An exciting opportunity has arisen for two posts as a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse, Band 5, to work within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in East and Mid Ross and also the wider Drug and Alcohol Service.
You will work within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service but have close links with colleagues within the Community Mental Health Teams and the wider multidisciplinary team and partner agencies
First level qualification in nursing
Basic knowledge and understanding of drug and /or alcohol misuse achieved via an appropriate post-registration course, or through experience or self–initiated, self-directed learning.
You will be required to carry out assessments, develop and implement treatment plan under the guidance of the Band 6 Drug and Alcohol Recovery nurse.
This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team and as a part of the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Team. You should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to joint working.
Relevant experience in the Drug and Alcohol field is desirable but not essential.
A full current driving license and use of a car for work purposes is essential.
