An excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a busy and friendly team in Eastleigh, Hampshire on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. As an HR Advisor, you will be working as part of a wider HR Business Partnering and HR Advisory team providing a comprehensive HR Service to managers and employees. Duties include : - To act as a key point of contact for managers, and support in the early stages of employee relations cases, providing quality advice and support where appropriate. Support the HR Business Partners in the planning of Employee Relations (ER) meetings including arranging dates, booking meeting rooms, preparing, and circulating relevant documentation. Undertake key administration as required by the HR Business Partners, including but not limited to preparing hearing notes, drafting invite/outcome letters, producing SAR data, business reports, generating investigation bundles, and responding to colleague requests all whilst consistently demonstrating attention to detail Act as a first line response to ER related queries, ensuring the relevant HR Business Partners are aware of all potential risks and concerns. Work with line managers & HR Business Partners to ensure informal ER processes and procedures are correctly and appropriately followed, escalating cases for formal action by the relevant HR Business Partner As required, support on informal, stage one, or equivalent meetings with the relevant managers, acting as the HR representative to ensure procedures are correctly followed, and fair & reasonable outcomes are determined, providing oversight in terms of consistency & precedence. Escalate any complex cases to the HR Business Partner As required, undertake Exit Interviews with leavers, highlighting any concerns or trends to the relevant HR Business Partner. Scrutinise HR data received from multiple sources producing analysis to the HRBPs highlighting trends, areas of concern/improvement, and other specific information to identify areas for HR focus. Maintain HR files and records, including case management documents and other information to be retained. Candidates CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent in experience. Basic knowledge of employment law and the ability to interpret employment legislation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals, including colleagues at all levels, face to face, on the phone and via emails. Able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload effectively, working under own initiative while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining excellent attention to detail. Proactive thinker, with the ability to problem solve and influence others. A self-motivated team player who relishes pressure and can prioritise workloads to deliver an efficient service. Good knowledge of MS Office and HR systems.
