The Vacancy Personal care assistant required for young male Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who has high anxiety needs, to support him with accessing the community, as well as some personal care. The successful candidate should be patient, fun and have excellent communication skills. Our client's son enjoys trips out to the park and shops, gardening, listening to music and playing games on his PlayStation. He is a fun and cheeky character, but can sometimes display some challenging behaviour, so it is important that the successful candidate is confident assisting him with managing emotions. Our client's son has some mobility limitations which means walking can be uncomfortable at times. The role is 3 hours per week, to be worked over variable days and times (to be negotiated with our client) paid at £11.44ph. The role is based in Scunthorpe. Due to the provision of intimate care, our client has the right to request a carer of a specific sex. This vacancy is restricted for men only. Driving license and own vehicle preferred. Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
