The Role Overview
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Quarry Fitter to join our team. Located within our dynamic Quarry operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance and repair of our mobile and fixed plant equipment. You will be working Mon to Fri working across 2 sites, 6.30AM to 4.30PM.
Responsibilities of the Quarry Fitter
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repair work on quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and screeners.
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
Assist in planned maintenance tasks and participate in scheduled machine overhauls.
Collaborate with site management to plan and prioritise maintenance work efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
