You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.\n\nAs an apprentice youâll:\n\nhave regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace\nlearn and train for a specific job\nget paid and receive holiday leave \nget hands-on experience in a real job\ncomplete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship\nbe on a career path with lots of future potential\nWhat is an apprenticeship?\n\nAn apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.\n\nLevels of an apprenticeship\n\nEach apprenticeship has a level and an equivalent education level. You can start an apprenticeship at any level. \n\nAt the end of your apprenticeship, youâll achieve the equivalent education level equal to standards or highers. Level 2 Food and Beverage Service Framework\nEach framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.\nYou will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.\nYou will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen. To be successful in this role you will need to be a hard worker with a natural focus on positive communication skills, however you do not need any previous experience to join our team as an Apprentice Barista.\nNo previous qualifications required as full training will be given.
