Job Title: Social Worker – Adult’s Wellbeing Team
Location: Hereford County Council
Rate: £35/hour
Herefordshire Adult Social Care is looking for an experienced locum Social Worker, with a strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Experience of completing Safeguarding Enquiries is also essential.
Primary Responsibilities as an Adult’s Wellbeing Social Worker:
You will bring ideas, values, and knowledge that ensure responses are person-centered, safe, and effective, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support. You will be familiar with a strengths-based approach and able to employ this in supporting clients to maintain independence and build on community networks of support as much as possible. You will work on your own initiative to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process, but with regular supervision and support.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, experience in completing Safeguarding Enquiries, and the ability to work on your own initiative while receiving regular supervision and support.
