We are now moving into of AMP 8 and as part of continued growth across the entire UK & Ireland, we are looking to bring in Design Lead / Design Manager / Project Technical Lead at all levels. In this role you will lead our strong multi-disciplinary Water team, delivering diverse and challenging projects for a range of Water clients. You will work closely with our Project Managers to manage the technical team and you will be responsible for the delivery, efficiency, and quality of all technical output. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the UK water industry’s largest clients delivering designs that will shape the way we obtain, clean, and distribute water for our local communities, using innovative and sustainable methods. Projects / clients include the following; Thames Water – Stantec have managed all HS2 design assurance for Thames Water, London Infrastructure design & build contract, and multiple engineering studies and assessments for Thames Water across both Infrastructure & non-Infrastructure deliver streams ( Thames Water London Plan 2100 (stantec.com) ) High Speed Rail Phase 2B (HS2) - Our team is partnering with Bechtel in their role as delivery partner for the HS2 Phase 2B Hybrid Bill, under an 8-year contract. About you To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with, ideally, experience within the water industry. It will be beneficial if you are looking to gain access to a relevant engineering institution eg. ICE. This is something we can support you on. In addition, you’ll have a passion for the water and environment sector and supporting our developing civil engineers.
