About the Business

Role Responsibilities:
* Management of own ledger of accounts.
* Chasing overdue debts by telephone, email and letter up to litigation.
* Following up unpaid bills with Partners and Lawyers.
* Liaising with internal teams and Partners to minimise and quickly resolve queries.
* Building strong relationships with Internal and External Clients.
* Working in a team of Credit Controllers.
* Oversee the collection of outstanding payments from clients or customers.
* Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for goods or services rendered.
* Work with customers to set up feasible payment plans for outstanding debts.
* Handle any disputes or discrepancies related to invoices and payment terms.
* Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, collections progress, and aging accounts for management.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is office based in Kidderminster. The company operates from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 40.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* AAT/CIMA or QBE.
* Strong experience as a Credit Controller is essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills – able to manage your own workload.
* Ability to manage tight deadlines.
* Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills.
* Good MS Office skills.
* Be a supportive and motivated team member, with the drive to do well.
