We are seeking a Deputy Racing Manager to join our team at Sunderland Greyhound Stadium.
**About the Role**
The Deputy Racing Manager will work closely with the Racing Managers to deliver race meetings with integrity. You will grade cards for race meetings and perform racing office duties as required. Compliance with conditions imposed by Government, Gambling Commission and The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) is essential.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and enhance grading skills for grading races and trials in accordance with the grading process.
* Advertise open races through the GBGB portal and assist with the day-to-day running of the Racing Office.
* Assist in achieving racing KPIs and input data into the GBGB racing office system.
* Run/support the Racing Managers in running race/trial meetings and ensure compliance with the GBGB Rules of Racing.
* Liaise with Trainers, Vet and other departments to maintain a positive relationship.
* Use the public address system, mark up greyhounds and complete paperwork relating to greyhound registration and licencing.
* Distribute information to outside sources and perform general Racing Office duties.
* Act as a representative for the stadia and ARC at all times, leading by example to all other team members.
**Requirements**
* Previous Racing Office Experience as Assistant Racing Manager or above.
* High level of interpersonal skills, logical approach to tasks and excellent time management.
* Personable, works well under pressure and is organised, systematic and process driven.
