UBT Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a very reputable, family-run business based in Caerphilly. Our client is a supplier of high-quality flooring and accessories, and they are now recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to join their team.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be accountable & responsible for meeting & exceeding sales targets and GP within the given Territory, and within the retail sector. You will develop close business relationships with all major accounts in order to grow business organically and also seek out new business opportunities.
This role covers the West Region, in which you will be on the road 4 times per week.
Duties:
1. Responsible for developing and improving excellent relationships with all new and existing partners.
2. Responsible for managing contact with all contacts within Partner accounts within the Territory.
3. Developing contacts through levels of expertise by winning opportunities and supporting through the sales process (coaching & training).
4. Monitor sales data for territory and keep up to date with market trends and partners' needs.
5. Ensure account profiles are updated swiftly and accurately for all partners.
6. Follow up all leads within 24 hours (i.e. sample requests, contact forms, etc).
7. Ensure management reports are accurate and submitted on time.
8. Managing all aspects of the pipeline from gaining opportunities to closing them down.
9. Aware of competitive activities within major partners/accounts.
10. Ensure activities are promptly recorded on SalesForce CRM database.
11. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing Partners/Developers/Third Parties detailing the success & credibility of WP & its products by utilizing category management techniques/information to grow.
12. Forecast sales and GP annually and quarterly.
13. Identify underperformance with correct actions.
14. Be financially astute with pricing, and provide comprehensive reports and recommendations for the territory.
15. Involved in the creation of sales strategy for territory & present to Sales/Managing Director for approval.
16. Identify underperforming Partners and present and execute strategy for recovery within the reporting timeframe (i.e. current quarter).
17. Responsible for visual merchandising whilst visiting all partners. Full responsibility for small installations & improvements, support in large installations.
18. Issue resolution to ensure partner growth.

Benefits:
1. Salary: 80,000-85,000.

The role is 07:30 till 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a lunch break of 60 minutes. This role requires flexibility around working hours to deliver on the needs of the customers.
