Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’. We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards! We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Are you a fun-loving and motivated person who loves going the extra mile to improve the lives of others? Is it important for you to have a satisfying job where you feel supported? If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for! In our Fraserburgh service, you will support vulnerable adults to live in their own homes, providing whatever support they need to help them live really great lives. The key to this role is providing the right support to help these individuals to live as independently as possible. The people we support are all unique and have their own interests, so you can expect to support them to go bowling, visit their families, go to concerts, take a trip to the pub or out to a cafe for coffee and cake. As well as this, you may provide support with medication administration, attending appointments, helping them manage their home and finances, or support them with personal care. The people we support are engaging, fun people who enjoy spending time with people and they would love staff who communicate well, are fun and are interested in their lives and hobbies. You will receive full, paid training in this role so you'll learn everything you need to know with us. We are currently recruiting for contracted hours and would be happy to discuss full-time or part-time roles. Our shift patterns are generally 9am - 9am the next day (this includes a sleepover shift) or 11am - 5pm. We provide support Monday-Sunday, so there will be an expectation of some weekend work. Your values: The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! They like people who are reliable and honest, so they can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart.
