In effect, it has aligned its own sustainability ambitions with those of its clients and prospects. Eradicating 327,000 tonnes CO2e by 2028 is the goal – this is the equivalent of taking 73,000 cars off the road.
Position
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth for Sustainable Energy First. Your mission is to identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored energy solutions that help businesses save costs, improve efficiency, and achieve their sustainability goals.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine your sales expertise, market knowledge, and consultative approach to make a real difference for clients and contribute to a greener future.
Requirements
* Self-motivated and proactive, with a drive to seek and secure new opportunities
* A good solid understanding of the UK energy sector (including sustainability and regulatory frameworks.), but you’ve got to love sustainability and be a huge advocate doing good for the planet, tying in with our ‘purpose’.
* A strong track record of winning high-value contracts with complex commercial structuring and delivering tangible results
* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
* You are a strategic thinker and analytical mindset, with the ability to assess the value and impact of potential new clients
* Tech-Savvy, competent with CRM systems (Salesforce), and leveraging technology to enhance the sales process
* Ability to showcase your ability to thrive in competitive environments
* Have experience of responding to and winning large tenders
