Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support project planning, execution, and completion. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills to help drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing projects.
* Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Coordinate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
* Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations as needed.
* Identify and raise project-related issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
* Assist Project Manager in managing project resources, including materials and personnel.
* Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
* Maintain project records and update relevant documentation.
* Support communication between internal and external teams.
* Conduct surveys – Matterport and pen surveys (accuracy key as they form the basis of the model).
* Review parts following manufacture – checking critical dimensions and working with suppliers to ensure feasibility.
* Act as site contact – work with the fitting team to resolve on-site issues and ensure job completion, escalating any issues as necessary.
* Complete SAP reports – highlight snagging and any drawing/design changes, providing feedback to the design department.
* Attend suppliers and assist with project update meetings to ensure timeframes are achievable.
* Work independently and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
* Analyse equipment from a design and installation perspective to ensure viability and fitment without constraints.
* Assist with prototype build from manufacturing drawing and installations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

* Office-based work environment with site visits.
