We would like to appoint a General Practitioner under the national Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) to work with the practices in TASC Primary Care Network.
We are looking to provide a newly qualified GP the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive environment, working as part of our well-staffed multidisciplinary clinical teams. All three practices are training practices and TASC PCN is an approved learning organisation.
The post is up to six sessions a week, worked in blocks in each practice and will include time for clinical supervision.
The fixed term nature of this post until end of March 2026 reflects what is currently understood regarding the funding associated with the GP ARRS role. Clearly, this funding could be extended or, for the right candidate, other opportunities within a PCN practice may present themselves.
Main duties of the job
Our PCN GP will, as part of our practice teams, provide on the day support for seeing patients with acute presentations in the three member practices and support home visiting including care home visits.
The postholder will deliver an excellent standard of clinical care, adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with members of the practices and the wider multidisciplinary team.
