About the role
Reporting to the Head of Operations Engineering, the Operations Engineering Manager will play a key role in the development of Flogas’ network of Operational sites, improving process safety, personal safety, operational resilience and upgrading sites to Target Plant design by:
1. Managing engineering projects across the Operations network, from inception through to completion.
2. Managing the annual programme of statutory inspections on operational site storage vessels and pipework.
3. Coordination and completion of projects, delivered safely, on time, within budget, within scope and in compliance with a governance framework.
4. Supporting Site Manager’s with on-site management of projects – when complex or where manager is inexperienced.
What you will be doing
1. Deliver projects safely, with a zero incident & near miss target, ensuring any incidents or near misses are investigated and lessons applied to future projects.
2. Ensure projects are enacted with all relevant safety compliance met, e.g., Legislative, CDM, Flogas Standards, WIs & Guidance.
3. Ensure projects are implemented within the company’s governance requirements.
4. Define scope of projects and agree with stakeholders.
5. Deliver projects within scope, ensuring any variations to scope are understood and agreed.
