Now it's time for the fun bit - 58 weeks of coordinating subcontractors, managing expectations, and pretending the drawing's always been like that. Your Day-to-Day: ·Politely ensuring subcontractors don't wander off mid-task ·Keeping H&S above token effort but below military-grade ·Filling out CVIs, RFIs and site diaries - because someone has to ·Liaising with clients (read: staying calm during design U-turns) You (Ideally): ·Can manage high-end builds without combusting ·Know what SMSTS stands for (and actually have it) ·Organised, personable, and able to survive 58 weeks of questions like Can the walls be slightly less wall-like? ·A proven track record delivering London's super-prime residential projects - you know, the sort where the door handles cost more than your first car.
