We are looking for a Care Support Worker to join our team to support our clients based in Ellesmere Port and Chester.
You will be paid £12.00 per hour after training is completed (provided during recruitment).
Full Time, Days & Sleeping Nights.
37.5 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime.
Main duties of the job
You will be working across three different services, providing care and support to individuals with varying needs, mainly autism and learning disabilities. Your role will be to work in accordance with the approved plans of care, adhering to all organisational policies and procedures and CQC regulations. You will work on a rotational basis, providing flexibility to meet the needs of the clients.
Support is needed with:
* Domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, tidying, washing up, washing clothes.
* Accessing community/social settings and attending medical appointments.
* Finances and medication.
* Correspondence and documentation.
* Engaging in activities.
* Shopping and personal hygiene.
* Maintaining a nutritious and balanced diet.
* Maintaining positive physical and mental health.
* Managing some behaviours that may challenge.

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
