We are recruiting Casual Support Workers - these roles support our values and would offer you the opportunity to work within an organisation that is committed to making a difference to the lives of older people.
The Role
In your role as Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals in their own homes including:
1. Assisting with household tasks
2. Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care
3. Medication prompting/ administering
About You
You Will
1. Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis
3. Have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills
4. Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification
5. Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
