Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Neuro Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about patient care and rehabilitation, particularly in an intensive rehabilitation setting.
Duties
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
2. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments.
3. Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to aid recovery.
4. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation processes.
5. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
8. Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Qualifications
1. A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
2. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
3. Experience managing and supporting staff is desired.
4. Experience in a rehab environment is preferred; experience with paediatrics is an advantage.
5. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
