Join our Chemical & Biological Treatment business platform as a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. You will work as part of our in-house, multidisciplinary design team and take on a key role in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.
Key duties include:
* Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implementation.
* Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.
* Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
* Assemble contract works information documents.
* Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
* Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.
* Implement project change control and programme requirements.
* Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
Requirements include:
* Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team.
* Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
* Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
