RDaSH Talking Therapies has an exciting opportunity to recruit three new Communications/ Public and Stakeholder Engagement officers. This role is to help engage under served communities across Rotherham, Doncaster and Scunthorpe, in order to tackle inequalities.
Each Communications/Public and Stakeholder Engagement officer will have responsibility for one area of Comms, such as marketing, as well as lead for increasing access to Talking Therapies for a specific under served community. We require a lead for Older Adults, Poverty Proofing including those areas with a high DNA rate and LGBTQ+, respectively.
We are seeking people with experience of engaging with specific populations and project work related to this. To support RDaSH’s strategic plan for Talking Therapies, we welcome applications from all, including those with lived experiences and those from under served communities.
Whilst the main hours of working will be between 9:00 and 5:00, Monday to Friday, there will need to be flexibility. Some working hours may be in the evenings and at weekends and the post holder will be required to adjust their working hours accordingly.
The postholder will promote Trust-wideTalking Therapiesservices through effective and innovative communication and engagement within local communities. This will include developing and maintaining links with local businesses, other key partners and third-party organisations with the aim to increase service engagement and increase access.
The role will ensure that any marketing or communication in relation toTalking Therapiesis effective and in line with the wider Trust Communication strategy, policies and procedures.
The role will involve supporting the writing and production of service publications, key messages and presentations, input on materials and campaigns, input into the development and maintenance of online communication tools and maintenance of the website and other communication channels.
The post holder will be required to help create and support effective marketing and promotional campaigns to achieve ambitious service goals, using market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. They will support in the delivery of creative and engaging innovative online campaigns to educate, involve and increase audience engagement.
