Day shift, Monday to Friday, Maintenance Engineers opportunity at this diverse manufacturing / engineering company. We are looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join this team covering planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns
* Perform regular preventative maintenance (e.g., oil changes, water dosing, filter replacements)
* Maintain and repair machinery, including hydraulic presses and a range of furnaces
* Conduct fault finding as needed
* Support on-site services (fire, water, electricity)
* Manage maintenance stock and order spare parts
* Communicate with suppliers
* Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
* Document procedures and complete necessary paperwork
Required Skills and Experience:
* 18th edition electrical regulations
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
* Experience with heavy machinery e.g. pneumatic presses
* Familiarity with pumps, motors, and compressors
* Strong health and safety awareness
* Proficiency in IT (Excel/Word) and experience with maintenance IT systems
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work at heights and perform manual handling tasks
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Full driving licence (occasional travel to Surrey required)
* Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
