12ab Traffic Management Foreman with IPV
Location: Watford, WD24 7GP
Salary: Competitive depending on location, skills and experience with benefits and overtime opportunity.
Plus £500 welcome bonus in first pay!
Hours: General hours of work are 48 hours per week and is night-shift working. In addition, overtime is also available.
Who is Chevron Traffic Management?
Chevron Traffic Management sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversion routes, or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe during roadworks. This involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure our schemes are fit for purpose.
About the role of a 12ab IPV Traffic Management Foreman:
The 12ab Traffic Management Foreman is responsible for:
* Driving an IPV.
* Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment.
* Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings, and near misses.
* Helping and guiding new trainees.
What good looks like for a 12ab IPV Traffic Management Foreman:
* Qualified IPV Licence.
* 12ab LTMO qualification.
* Knowledge of Chapter 8.
* 12d Lantra qualifications are advantageous.
* Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years.
* Able to pass a drug and alcohol test; your offer will depend on the outcome of this.
* Positive “can-do” attitude.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
