About the Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer in our dynamic team at Runcorn, you will play a crucial role in both operations and maintenance within a semi-autonomous, shift-based environment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality production services while packaging a variety of beverages, ensuring that we meet customer service levels, maintain quality standards, and operate within budget—all while prioritising safety and professionalism.
You will be instrumental in upholding our health and safety compliance standards, monitoring key performance indicators such as quality, hygiene, waste reduction, and efficiency. Your commitment to these areas will be vital in driving continuous improvement and supporting the success of the team.
This role operates on a continental shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends, offering a rewarding and flexible work schedule.
About You
For this role, you will be a time-served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or have obtained a minimum of HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and SVQ Level 2 & 3 alongside relevant work experience.
In addition to this, you will have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk. It would be great if you had knowledge of working in the manufacturing industry; however, this is not essential.
We're looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective conclusions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems. You'll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You'll have the drive to make a positive difference in manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
