Purpose: The Graduate Project Engineer is responsible for actively participating in engineering and project management tasks related to the preparation and delivery of submarine cable installation projects. This is a development position offering a combination of both on-the-job and off-the-job training, representing the project team both onshore and offshore, nationally and internationally. Key Deliverables:
1. Conduct all activities in accordance with company QHSE requirements, including engagement and active participation in safety initiatives.
2. Collaborate in developing technical cable installation procedures, supporting tasks such as engineering support to senior engineers, design calculations, scope of work writing, procedure development, deck layouts & storyboards, analysis & progress reports, subcontractor tender evaluations.
3. Assist in providing cost estimates for mobilisation and installation activities.
4. Engage in development engineering FEED studies to address engineering challenges.
5. Manage and deliver discrete engineering work scopes, taking on increasing responsibility as experience is gained.
6. Assist the project team in monitoring and controlling budgets and schedules to ensure safe and timely project completion.
