The Company\nA leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join its growing team.\n\nThe Role\nMy client is looking for a highly motivated candidate with a background in quality inspection to support the day-to-day quality requirements of a fast-growing precision engineering company.\nYou will be responsible for inspecting components using various techniques, including Laser Scanners, CMM (training provided), and hand-held measuring devices such as micrometres, verniers, and height gauges. Additionally, you will complete FAIRs and Inspection Reports while ensuring quality standards are met.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Inspect components within required timescales and to specified standards.\n• Complete FAIRs and Inspection Reports.\n• Program and operate Hexagon Romer Arm.\n• Program and operate LKQ CMM.\n• Effectively communicate quality issues to relevant departments to prevent ongoing issues.\n• Input quality issues into the ERP system.\n• Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement activities.\n\nThe Candidate\nAt least 1 year of experience in a precision engineering environment.\nExperience in the Aerospace or Formula One industries is desirable.\nProficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings & GD&T.\nStrong knowledge of manual measuring tools.\nExperience with 3D scanners & CMM machines is beneficial.\n\nThe Package\nThe salary offered for this position is £35,000- £45,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.\nWe operate & advertise as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions
