Pertemps are recruiting a Lecturer - Carpentry (Apprenticeships) for an Education provided based in Essex
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching apprenticeships and hold a Carpentry Level 2 or 3 NVQ or Diploma, along with advanced craft skills in wood occupations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality instruction in carpentry to apprenticeship students, ensuring they gain practical and theoretical knowledge.
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Maintain accurate records of student achievements and progress.
* Ensure all teaching practices comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Stay updated with the latest developments in carpentry and apprenticeship training.
* Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support students in their academic and professional development.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience teaching apprenticeships in carpentry.
* Carpentry Level 2 or 3 NVQ or Diploma.
* Advanced craft skills in wood occupations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher education degree in Carpentry or a related field.
* Previous experience in a similar teaching role.
