Job Title: Supply Chain Project Manager
Job Description:
Drive the Emergency Care operations project management plan and represent operations in the integral project team to complement business goals, supply chain, and manufacturing strategy.
Our Supply Chain Project Manager is in the lead for the execution and release of new product introductions & Manufacturing Transfer in the supply chain & manufacturing (design transfer) with minimal disruption of actual production.
Your role:
1. First time right NPI (New Product Introduction) project management with respect to costs, schedule, and quality.
2. Accountable for the design transfers and manufacturing transfers for EC product industrialization activities related to the factory & Contract Manufacture.
3. Communicate and collaborate with the different stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, business, program management).
4. Manage the business risks related to Product Industrialization.
5. Ensure early involvement in the design process.
6. Ensure an optimal supply chain for the NPIs and AOS (assurance of supply) to serve our customers.
7. Become a lead in the design transfer processes (like APQP, Process Validation) and drive process improvements where required.
8. Create and maintain a diverse, inclusive, and highly engaged team.
9. This role is office based, where you will have the opportunity to work from our Farnborough, Hampshire Head Office 3 days a week.
You’re right for this role if:
Education Qualification:
1. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering/Technical Discipline or equivalent
2. PMP certification or equivalent experience
Technical/Functional Competencies:
1. Project management especially in New Product Introduction (NPI) & industrial integration and transfers.
2. PMI/PMP Competencies like project management (i.e MS-Project plus Agile/Waterfall project planning & execution.
3. Knowledge of NPI, phased releases, and supplier transfers (manufacturing, procurement, and sourcing)
4. Change management and lifecycle management fundamentals
5. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
6. Knowledge in Industry 4.0, digital transformation with AI enablement (preferred)
7. Management of CapEx and Non-Recurring Engineering related purchases (preferred)
Behavioral Competencies:
1. Experience in leading teams or multi-disciplinary teams & projects
2. Aptitude for networking & collaborations
3. A flexible mind set, happy to pivot and work in a changing environment
4. Result and quality oriented
