The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are upheld throughout all phases of construction projects. This position is integral to maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ISO 9001 standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the SHEQ management system in line with ISO 9001 standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to staff on SHEQ policies and best practices. Monitor and report on performance metrics related to health, safety, environmental impact, and quality assurance. Collaborate with project managers to integrate SHEQ considerations into project planning and execution. Stay updated on legislation and industry trends to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a SHEQ management role within the construction sector, particularly in groundworks and civils. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and experience implementing quality management systems. NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
